LogixHealth Senior Engineer, DevOps in United States
Location: Bedford, Ma; Hybrid; Remote in AL, FL, GA, MA, MI, MO, NC, NH, OH, OK, TN, TX, WI, WV
This Role:
The Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer will work with our software development, data services, and infrastructure colleagues to develop and deploy solutions that directly improve the healthcare industry. Your expertise will drive the development of robust cloud platforms that enables the delivery of complex and challenging projects across software and data domains.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Development and Analytics & Innovation teams to develop modern cloud-native solutions, that leverage infrastructure-as-code and DevOps methodologies for development, testing and deployment into production
Develop, test, and build infrastructure and security code projects using CI/CD processes, test frameworks, infrastructure-as-code tools, and monitoring/alerting (Git, Terraform, Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions / Jenkins, Azure Monitor / Datadog)
Ensure application size, performance, and uptime while highly available , reliable, secure and cost-efficient solutions
Troubleshoot issues with applications and infrastructure with a focus on streamlining processes to improve efficiency
Develop and implement automated processes for consistent execution and tracking of repeatable tasks
Ensure end-to-end network security, including unique access controls for a wide range of user requirements
Document designs of cloud-based systems
Research, evaluate, recommend, and implement tools and solutions that ensure
Qualifications:

Required:
7 years working in a Microsoft Azure, AWS or equivalent DevOps environment
Proficiency in developing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform or Bicep
Significant experience developing and deploying Cloud solutions, including DevOps pipeline deployments and infrastructure, migrations/ conversions
Experience with general-purpose languages (such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Go)
Background working with enterprise infrastructure implementation, engineering and/or administration strongly desired
Proficiency with Identity and Access Management solutions (such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta or other)
Proficiency with networking protocols and concepts such as (TCP/IP, routing, DNS)
Possess a combination of technical expertise , problem-solving skills, and effective communication
Ability to adapt to new technologies , effectively work with diverse teams, and have a continuous learning mindset
Knowledge of container technologies like (Docker, Kubernetes) and deployment automation (Ansible, Salt Stack, Puppet)
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience desired .
