Position Overview

Autodesk Australia requires an experienced and engineering technology sales professional to represent the Autodesk Water Infrastructure (AWI) product line. This individual contributor role, reporting to the Head of Sales APJ, will give you the opportunity to represent us with AWI solutions across the public and private sector organisations within your allocated territory.

This is a hybrid role or you can also work from an Autodesk office location.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development helping our mission of continuing digital transformation of the Australian Water Industry.

  • Territory sales planning and whitespace analysis working with our wider sales team.

  • Complete opportunity management.

  • Collaboration on demand generation and pipeline growth.

  • Lead qualification.

  • Forecast deals for assigned territory with accuracy.

  • Key account/Large account management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience selling engineering software applications.

  • Must have 7+ years sales experience with focus in the Australian water industry.

  • Previous success with complex sales involving 2-4 decisions makers and sales cycles of 3+ months.

  • Must have Public sector experience and understands multiple procurement models in use.

  • Experience deliver accurate sales forecasts.

  • Experience using partnerships as a sales multiplier.

  • Trained in popular sales theory such as SPIN, Challenger, etc.

  • Experience with Salesforce.com is valuable.

  • Experience working with marketing teams to guide demand through social media and other means of prospecting to build our pipeline growth.

  • Utilises sales theory into everyday use for success

  • Organisational mastery to manage many opportunities and constant inbound leads simultaneously

  • Exceed revenue goals assigned to the territory

  • Use leadership influence on major pursuits

  • Trusted advisor by way of sound understanding of client workflows and challenges

  • Experience communicating product benefits appropriate for each prospect and internally and externally

  • Coordinate technical and administrative team members to deliver goals

  • Willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge

  • Ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time plus some international travel as applicable

  • Have a understanding and background of participation in the Australian Water Industry.

  • Be based on the East Coast of Australia with the right to work in Australia
