Tom Winter Architect PC Project Designer in Brooklyn, New York

Prepare building designs, floor plans, elevations, sections, 3d models, photorealistic renderings based on preliminary data, such as sketches, calculations, zoning analysis, outline specifications, using Revit, Enscape and postproduction tools. Create comprehensive construction documents, including construction details, lighting and power plans, slab edge drawings, RCPs, MEP/structural/architectural coordination drawings using Revit and AutoCad. Establish resource library of design standards, specifications and construction procedures for use in ongoing and future projects. Prepare Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) applications and communicate with LPC to obtain approval. Prepare feasibility studies including architectural evaluations, zoning analysis and cost-benefit analysis. Prepare project proforma and comprehensive presentation materials for client submittal using Revit, AutoCad, Enscape, Excel, Bluebeam. Review and coordinate work of consultants, such as structural and MEP engineers, create and maintain submittal logs. Create interior designs for residential and commercial projects, including finish specifications, shop drawing grade furniture drawings, interior presentation renderings, FF&E specifications and material boards for client presentations using Revit, AutoCad, Enscape, Excel, Bluebeam.Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field. Must have 24 months experience as Project Designer, Architectural Designer, Architectural Drafter or other related position. Must have thorough understanding of architectural principles and theory associated with project design and construction materials and methods. Profound knowledge of 3D computer modeling and graphic design, including AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Enscape, Adobe Photoshop, Bluebeam, etc. Profound understanding of NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) applications and presentations.

Minimum Salary: 79643 Maximum Salary: 80000 Salary Unit: Yearly
