Cedar Fair Full-Time Entertainment- Technical Operations Supervisor in DOSWELL, Virginia

Overview:

The Kings Dominion Live Entertainment team is looking for a Full-Time Technical Services Operations Supervisor! This individual will oversee all of the Audio, Lighting, and Video techs involved with Entertainment shows, festivals, and events. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the audio, lighting, and video systems used for Entertainment shows, events, and festivals.

  • Assist with scheduling, hiring, and training all show and event technicians.

  • Will be responsible for the set-up and training for all Audio, Lighting, and Video equipment owned and/or rented for various events at the park.

  • Ability to quickly adapt and troubleshoot technical issues.

  • Must be able to work and communicate with park employees as well as outside vendors.

  • Work with outside vendors to coordinate equipment and supplies as needed.

  • Must be able to quickly respond and deal with both guest and associate issues.

Qualifications:

  • Resume with related experience and education is required. Theatrical lighting design, electrical work or audio engineering background preferred.

  • Previous supervisory experience is required.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.

  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
