Location/Division Specific Information
This position is at the Eugene, OR location. The Eugene Site maintains ISO 13485 Quality Management System certifications.
Shift Information
Monday - Friday 6am- 2:30pm PT (overtime opportunities are available)
How will you make an impact?
As part of a dynamic Quality Assurance team, you’ll contribute to the daily flow of materials and product through the site and provide support to our Operations partners. Our products research use only (RUO) and are primarily fluorescent in nature, support the life sciences market, and are specific to protein and cellular analysis.
What will you do?
Support finished goods inspection. Including but not limited to, visual checks of material, weight checks, and good documentation practices
Support QA receiving activities
Support QA certificate of analysis creation, support document retention activities (scanning documents)
Facilitate and support the metrology program
Work with a cross functional team to determine supplier change impacts to the QMS
Actively partner with manufacturing departments to provide Quality Assurance support
Work with the PMO and manufacturing teams to identify improvement opportunities related to finished good inspections to ensure timely release of product
Other duties in Quality Assurance may be assigned, as the need arises.
May be required to assist in other departments, as required. Other tasks or projects may be assigned as the business need emerges
How will you get here?
Education
HS Diploma Required
1-3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
Previous exposure to ISO13485 is a plus
Strong computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, other software programs as required)
Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Ability to handle critical timelines in a multi-task environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability and a positive attitude
