Universal Engineering Sciences Marketing Manager in Houston, Texas

The UES Texas Region seeks to add a Houston-based Marketing Manager with 7+ years of experience to our growing marketing team. In this role, you will lead innovative marketing initiatives and manage the pursuit process in the Houston area. You will have the opportunity to improve your teaching and mentorship skills while having a seat at the table regarding the region’s strategic marketing plan.

Duties for this position include:

  • Facilitating and overseeing the go/no-go process on pursuit initiatives

  • Managing the pursuit process for the Houston area, from strategy development through final layout and production

  • Supporting the sales and operations teams by preparing marketing collateral for meetings and events

  • Providing input on team member development including training and mentoring

  • Maintaining brand consistency throughout internal and external communications

  • Providing social media content and project profiles to the region communications lead

  • Ordering promotional and apparel items for local team as needed

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in a marketing or communications role. A/E/C experience strongly preferred

  • A degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, or a related combination of education and experience

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office Suite required. Experience with CRM databases a plus

  • Attention to accuracy and detail

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical/non-marketing staff

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
