Description

The Strategic Programs Business Initiatives Coordinator will support the development of the Launch & Evolve Programs, two high-profile enterprise collaboration efforts. Launch supports our business to gain the necessary internal alignment to bring revenue-generating new commercial offerings to market. Evolve is an initiative portfolio management function that aims to improve alignment and collaboration around a portfolio of internal, operational initiatives. Across both Launch & Evolve, the Strategic Programs team plays an important role to ensure high-priority enterprise initiatives get the resources necessary to drive value for Burns & McDonnell. Specifically, this position will support Strategic Programs team members actively managing key initiatives across the portfolio by helping to ensure initiatives meet business objectives on time and on budget by tracking milestones, increasing leadership endorsement, and focusing on implementation and reporting.

  • Assist in developing a robust implementation plan for initiatives.

  • Assist in the tracking, monitoring, and reporting of initiative metrics.

  • Assist in tracking and presenting initiative status, impacts, benefits, and barriers to influence the adaptation of initiatives.

  • Assist in supporting and presenting on challenges during the build-out of initiatives.

  • Assist in the development of training on Strategic Programs processes.

  • Assist in the development of document management for storing all initiative data.

  • Assist in tracking progress of "launched" initiatives vs original business plans and use data to support future initiatives.

  • Assist in the continued maintenance and development of the corporate services catalogue and future developments / updates.

  • Assist in the development and updates of executive summary dashboards for initiative status.

  • Assist in the development of Strategic Programs business plans & presentations.

  • Assisting COR Navigator to enhance project efficiency and continuity by facilitating clear and precise communication and delivering well-defined outcomes to all stakeholders involved.

  • Support Launch and Evolve web site development and maintenance. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field. Applicable years of experience may be substituted for degree requirement.

  • Prior internship and/or related consulting experience and/or prior marketing and/or communication experience.

  • Knowledge in standard change management techniques, principles, and procedures.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.

  • Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
