Our benefits include: Competitive Pay Rates Medical, dental, vision and prescription plans with wellness incentives Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account (on applicable plans) 401k Plan – with a company match Company funded Long Term and Short-Term Disability Company funded Life Insurance Policy Paid Vacation and Sick Days ​​​​​​ Job Description – Downline Operator Location: Millville, NJ Shift: 12 hour shift - 2,2,3 Schedule Reports to: Operations Supervisor Job Summary: Operate and constantly monitor the packaging machines and palletizer to achieve production goals, and to identify and alert maintenance and management of mechanical and operational issues. ​​​​​ Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure the equipment is stocked with packaging materials such as corrugated wraps and glue for cases and stretch wrap at palletizer Operate automatic palletizer and wrapper Monitor the manual palletizing during shift to ensure steady production Set-up and monitor barcode scanners and printers Operate forklift when needed Perform all quality checks such as monitoring the temperature, weight of the product, verifying gable codes, and case codes Accurately document and report operator quality inspections, take line samples per guidelines, and monitor case packing equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly Clear jams and spills and manually operate equipment as necessary Picking and staging outbound orders Effectively maintain product storage and rotation Unload, sort, and stack pallets keeping the palletizer always loaded Provide break and lunch relief to co-workers in the area Attend and participate in daily shift meetings Uphold visual management of the work area Follows and supports continuous improvement methodologies Strict adherence to all safety, health, and environmental policies Strict adherence to all GMP and food safety policies Perform necessary preventive maintenance on equipment as needed Report all equipment malfunctions and abnormalities to Maintenance Technicians for follow-up and repairs Create and follow-up on work orders for area as needed Completes all required training on time Other duties as assigned ​​​​​​ Minimum Requirements: ​​​​​​ High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to weights, measures and record keeping Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions Ability to read, speak, and write in English Required to regularly lift up to 50lbs Flexibility to work overtime and additional shifts based on business needs Desired Qualities: Collaborator - able to work with other members of the processing team Adaptive - adjusts to changing priorities and conditions Motivated - self-starter with the ability to work in a team and independently to achieve team objectives Safety conscious - abide by all safety measures put in place at Innovation Foods Customer focused - understands the need for the highest standard of food quality in production Innovation Foods is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Underrepresented Ethnic Minority Groups/Women/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity and other protected classes.
