Introduction

As a Director, ERP Functional Architect, you are client-facing, responsible for translating the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications, or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. You will act as an advocate for the client; you are the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. You design activities and build system prototypes.

You will drive revenue growth and opportunity support for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations within multiple industries and design and communicate industry solution offerings to Clients. As a thought leader, you will establish and develop the existing capabilities, positioning Avanade as an innovator for customers and partners alike. In close partnership with the North America and Regional Solution Area Offering Leads, and our broader portfolio, you will envision and develop innovative solutions/services propositions and products for enterprise clients. You will drive cutting-edge evolution in their application and data portfolios.

What you’ll do

• Lead the design of functional components related to ERP and business processes during the presales as an expert on the capabilities, and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365.

• Design, build, and demonstrate scenario flows with Microsoft Dynamics 365 aligned to the client’s business team's key requirements.

• Provide input to estimating the functional workstream for the project and advise the delivery team during the functional solution design.

• Align the solution value with client objectives via discovery, demonstration, estimation, SOW, and deal-close activities.

• You will be responsible for creating differentiated propositions while solving business-impacting client problems related to managed services solutions, leveraging Microsoft Solutions, and partnering across the Avanade, Microsoft, and Accenture landscape to achieve successful business outcomes.

• Work directly with deal teams and clients as a coach and subject matter expert.

• Leverage offshore and near-shore sales, solutions, and delivery capabilities to produce results with excellence.

Skills and experiences

• At least 3 full life cycle D365 Supply chain module implementations as a Solutions Architect.

• WMS and Production modules implementation expertise is nice to have.

• Understand the concepts and applications of Microsoft technologies related to Dynamics 365 including the Power Platform and Microsoft Azure.

• Hands-on experience with multi-phase, multi-country, enterprise-wide D365 implementations, focusing on pre-sales/business development and engagement delivery.

• Experience managing large geographically distributed teams.
