Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Test Engineer to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for both functional and integration testing of capabilities to ensure the delivery according to the program's Agile plan. You will be integrated with development scrum teams to validate capabilities being built.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support the development of system test solutions.

• Experience with the Agile or Scrum development methodology

• Experience conducting both functional and non-functional testing.

• Experience testing back-end and front-end components.

• Experience with troubleshooting issues and working closely with developers.

• Prepare and execute comprehensive system/element level test plans, procedures, and test events

• Experience with testing a large system, made up of several microservices/modules.

• Participate in integrated testing activities and resolving conflicts for competing systems.

• Document test requirements and methodologies

• Review system engineering documentation to ensure test plans and methodologies meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, consistent, and complete

• Support the development of system integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software/hardware system integration testing

• Monitor system performance trends and identify potential issues.

• Suggest opportunities for improvement.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• U.S. Citizenship is required

• Active Secret clearance is preferred; candidate must be able to obtain a security clearance

• Obtained a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or have equivalent work experience with demonstrable capabilities and results

• Been part of testing software in an agile SW program

• Written test cases, procedures, and documented results

• Worked with Virtual Machines

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Bitbucket/Stash, Nexus)

• Experience with Windows, Linux, and Virtual Machines

• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, JMeter, or the Python language

• Experience testing RESTful APIs

Salary Range:

$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
