Applicant will be responsible for daily maintenance of mining/quarry operation to produce stone aggregate for construction. Responsibilities include but are not limited to shoveling stone material, lifting over 50 lbs, greasing machinery and other physical activities. General repair skills with small hand and power tools a plus. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation (Front end loader, skid steer, dump truck) not required but a plus. Willing to train on job site.  Applicant will also be asked to drive dump truck on site (no on-road driving required).  Applicant will be required to back truck up ramps to dump aggregate as well as manuver truck in active surface mining area.

All applicants must be aware that safety is a priority so no cell phones may be used on site. Promptness and timeliness is required.  Operations begin promptly at 7:30, requiring applicant to be at site prior to operations beginning, 10-15 minutes earlier than start time please. This position is an all-outdoor job and will work in all types of weather during the construction season. All employees are expected to dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
