Job Title: Meat Processing Plant Worker\ We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Food Production Worker at Arch Food Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform food processing tasks such as cutting, fabricating, and packaging according to established procedures
- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in the production process
- Adhere to strict food safety guidelines and follow HACCP protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the work area
- Monitor product quality and report any issues or deviations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of meat cutting techniques is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot machinery is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and HACCP principles is desirable
Skills:
- Proficient knife skills for cutting and fabricating food products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a food production plant preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Basic math and reading skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
- Food Handler License preferred
